Be A Conqueror, We all experience things in our life that lift us up or bring us down.Often the outcome of our triumphs or trials is a result of our word. We need to rise above the defeatist words and latch hold of God’s Promises ~ in Romans 8:37 we are told that …..in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. If we are more than conquerors does it not stand to reason that we cannot be defeated?

Path to Woe or Wonderful?

Path to Woe or Wonderful?

If we look at the book of Mark Chapter 11 starting with verse 12 we read about Christ and his disciples coming from Bethany. Jesus became hungry and in the distance saw a fig tree full of leaves and looking to find figs he went to the tree. Upon approaching the tree he found no fruit because it wasn’t the season for the tree to produce and in verse 14 we hear him speak the words of a curse on the tree … Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it and they went on to Jerusalem .Did Christ know before hand that his curse would leave the fig tree barren? Yes. He wanted his disciples to hear his words and to understand there power to know that They had power over their situations and what to do when they face problems. When Jesus spoke his words of condemnation to the tree, His words had the power to wither the tree because they were consistent with God’s will.

What do we do when we face a problem or trial? Do we complain about it or do we curse the life from it? To complain about a problem is the equivalent of feeding slop to swine. It only creates growth in the problem or the trial. If instead we live a life of speaking into existence what we want and speaking life out of our troubles will we not be living the life of conqueror’s?
Instead of saying woe is me I have issues why not say instead  issues woe unto you because I am a child of God and with him I know I will Conquer you. Do you agree? I would love to hear your thoughts on this! Please share!
