“And Jesus answered them Have Faith In God.” Or another translation says “Have the God Kind Of Faith” When we study this verse think about the word HAVE, How do we define Have?  To Have… Means to Possess Own or Hold. Have relates to the present tense. You possess it now.  So what does it mean to have Faith, do you have faith, is your faith in ruins?Well what is Faith?
Some use this term to refer to denomination…. I am of  the Pentecostal Faith or Baptist Faith or the Lutheran Faith or the Catholic Faith…… But is that really a statement of Faith?

Faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1

“Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.  Faith gives life to hope. Faith is being fully persuaded with all confidence that turns the things you desire from Hope so to Know So Before it appears in the natural. Instead of being anxious, with Faith anxiety is replaced with a peace that rises up in the core of our being. With Faith, Worry and Fear will leave our hearts like darkness from light. We become joyful knowing that what God has promised he will deliver.

Where does Faith Come From?

We find it in Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. God’s word is our Faith Food. In Psalm 34: 8 we hear David Sing “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”  We need to consume the word of God with understanding of its power in our lives.
